Photo by Lisa Fotios from Pexels Hello friends. Just a quick check in to see how everyone is doing. I’ve been working some crazy ass hours at work, 57+ this week so writing has sort of been pushed to the back burner. My work life/ family life balance is all out of whack. How do you find work/life…… Continue reading Busy Bee
I’ve been in a mood lately. So, short and sweet with some words of wisdom, not my words, but wise nonetheless. NOT YOUR BUSINESS. As I grow older I remember the days of childhood. sixteen, seventeen, sometimes even younger, where I thought I needed to defend what was mine. Or what I thought was mine.…… Continue reading In a Mood
October is winding down. I can’t believe we are in the last week of this month. It seems as if the older I get the faster time seems to go. Wasn’t it January yesterday? This year is flying by and what a year it’s been. Ten months of crazy if you ask me. https://www.cornerstoneccs.com/blog/2020/02/03/coping-with-change For…… Continue reading Change, Life’s Only Constant
Some think I’m crazy. Maybe I am. As an autumn baby (although not a September baby), my favorite season has always been fall and September begins the journey. September isn’t as spectacular as October and doesn’t hold the thankfulness of November, but in it’s own right, September has a special place. Today’s prompt is an easy peasy lemon squeezy for me! What form of expression are you most grateful for? Ben Franklin said it best so I’ll let him do the talking today!!
Here we are in the final days of the gratitude challenge. Doesn’t feel like it’s been nearly 30 days already, feels as if we’ve only begun. Today’s prompt asks: What moment this week are you most grateful for? That’s an easy one! Not to say there weren’t many moments this past week that I was…… Continue reading 30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 25 – Just a Moment of Your Time Makes a HUGE Difference
Hello, Friend! How’s everything going with you? Things are getting better here as I s-l-o-w-l-y recover from a back injury. It’s been quite a journey, but one thing I’m learning is how much I need to slow down. Perhaps this is God’s way of saying, “HEY!! Your life is moving way too fast and you’re missing…… Continue reading 30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 24 – 4 Life Take Aways From Facing Challenges
Hello, Friends! I’m afraid I’ve left you all hanging for quite some time and have missed an entire week of the gratitude challenge. The SIGHT I’m most grateful for today? My family! There are not many things more pleasing and gratifying than to lay eyes on your family. It doesn’t matter if you’re going through good times or bad, seeing your family always, always brings you back around to knowing you are loved. You can have rough roads…… Continue reading 30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Sight – The Greatest Happiness is that of Family
I’ve heard it said, American English is the most difficult language to learn. Maybe not in the speaking portion of learning it, but in the writing and use of it. There are so many ‘rules’ and semantics that one must work very hard to understand how and when to use each one. Oh for Heaven’s…… Continue reading 30 Day Gratitude Challenge: Day 13 -Ability; Congratulations! You Are SUPERCALIFRAGILISTICEXPIALIDOCIOUS
