So far we’ve found smells and technologies to be grateful for. What blessings the small things truly are. I mean I never considered a smell as something to be grateful for, although I have considered technology as a blessing or maybe a curse depending on the day you ask me.

I’m loving today’s gratitude prompt! It’s going to be a challenge for me. I can never pick just one. What are we looking at today?
COLOR
Me: “Nana’s going to Kansas for vacation. Do you want to go with her?”
Youngest Son: ” Nope. I’ve seen the Wizard of Oz and Kansas isn’t in color”
True story. That conversation took place just this past summer. It was a good laugh. Of course he knows Kansas is in color, I hope…. no, I’m sure he knows! *whew*
As I looked around today at all the colors surrounding me, I have to tell you, I was overwhelmed with gratitude. I can’t imagine missing them.
I am Grateful
I was grateful for trees and all their glorious greens and browns. Oh, and in the fall all the reds, oranges, and yellows.
I was grateful for the sky and its many hues of blues, grays, and whites. It’s never the same twice.
I was grateful for the buildings in the many shades of oranges, reds, grays, blacks, and reflections of the colors around them.
I was grateful for clothes that hung in my closet in shades of yellows, blacks, blues, grays, purples, pinks, and more.
I was grateful for the different faces I saw today and the wide array of colors in whites, browns, tans, peaches, and blacks and more.
Colors, so many of them to be thankful for and not one I can choose all by itself. Together they make my world bright, beautiful and full of vibrancy!
I guess in the end of all this, I couldn’t pick only one color to be grateful for – I had to pick them all!
What color (s) are you grateful for today?
See you next time,
♥ Robyn
