As a mom I WORK HARD.

Every day I give more than 100% of myself.

I do it gladly and usually without complaint.

I wear many hats: laundress, chef, nutritionist, nurse, taxi driver, psychologist, fashion consultant, auditor, referee, and so many others.

There are days I feel under appreciated, and yet, I continue on.

Not because I HAVE to, but because I WANT to.

This thought process led me to wondering just what was my job as a mom worth.

After a bit of research I found a site that would give me the opportunity to find out.

Salary.com gives us moms (OK, dad’s too) a great little tool that allows us to plug in the numbers and find out what we should be making annually.

I was as honest as I could be, some of my numbers are probably pretty low AND this is only through September

Here’s my break down:

WHAT??? $162,843!!

Yep, that’s what the calculations gave me as I personalized all I did and that doesn’t include all I do at my ‘day’ job.

So, I wrote myself a check and forged my family’s signature! 😉

We work hard moms!

After all we do, I’d say we’ve probably earned several weeks of vacation and with that kind of salary WE CAN AFFORD A VACATION OR TWO!!
