Today we celebrated my youngest son’s 13th birthday. It was a day full of fun, laughter, swimming, presents, friends, and family.

In honor of this day, I’ve pulled an oldie but a goodie out of the ol’ archives to share with you.

Here we go…

This to do! That to complete! This child needs to get to this place! That child needs to get to that place. This co worker needs this job completed. That co worker needs that copy finished. This laundry needs done for the hubs. That laundry needs done for the fam.
That task needs to be started. This task needs to be finished.

THAT

Always running, and yet never running out of things that need to be done!

We get so busy in our day to day lives that we can forget to let people know we think of them, we pray for them, we think they are important.

But ONE day a YEAR, all that changes!!

One day a year, we become visible again even if we feel invisible every other day.

One day a year, we are the celebrated, even if we don’t feel celebrated any other time.

One day a year we get the pleasure of celebrating our own existence!

The day of our birth!

Happy Birthday! This is the day God said, “I am going to share this beautiful little soul with the world”

A Blessing! That’s what you are. That’s what you were created to be. That’s what you will be tomorrow when this day has past!

A day worth celebrating because You are YOU!!

A day worth celebrating because God made You!!

You are the you God chose! YES! He Chose you before you were even born!

Isn’t that an amazing thought?

So, today we celebrate YOU and the day the Lord blessed the earth with YOUR BIRTH!

How you feel today, as everyone sends birthday wishes and you’re surrounded by family and friends, is the feeling you will need to carry into tomorrow because…..
