Summer officially comes to an end this week…well not officially on the calendar, but officially for me as I return to work midweek.
I started thinking, ‘how can we end our summer activities on a high note?’
It was decided there was no better way than to GO GET ICE CREAM!
Activity 32 – Visit Dairy Queen for Ice Cream
It is so much fun to go to Dairy Queen, each of us getting our favorite ice cream.
Sitting on their patio, watching traffic roll by, being silly, and having a good time being together.
My favorite is the Strawberry Cheese Quake Blizzard, youngest likes Reese Cup Blizzard with chocolate ice cream, oldest likes simple chocolate ice cream in a cup, and Mr. Right loves the chocolaty chocolate blizzards, doesn’t matter which one.
Better eat it fast or it will melt. Here’s a napkin for that dribble on your chin!
We talk, get silly, tell jokes, people watch (my personal fave) and simply enjoy this lovely summer time treat.
Nothing ends our summer time together better than just hanging out, eating ice cream, and enjoying summer’s last little bit of fun!
Till Next Time,
What’s your favorite Dairy Queen treat?

Oh my goodness! You have reminded me that I’m still to have my holiday ice cream 😫 Thankfully I still have some time. I love Homemade icecream with all the amazing names. Hubby will always go for the nearest thing to rum & raisin which I hate!

There is ALWAYS time for ice cream!! Mmmm, homemade ice cream, that’s the best! Rum and raisin? Not sure that would be for me. 🙂
Sounds delicious. No Dairy Queen here but chocolate always wins for me.
You and my guys would get along nicely 🙂
I like you have to return to work (well next week) after a long break. We don’t have those ice creams in the UK but I do like a honeycomb and chocolate ice cream
Gavin, I’ve never had honeycomb and chocolate, of course mine would have to be honeycomb and something other than chocolate. I do not like chocolate anything. 🙂 Thanks for sharing you favorite with me. Broadens my mind
