I can’t believe how quickly summer is coming to an end. 😦
We’ve nearly finished with all of our activities and back to school time is rapidly approaching.
This activity was both needed and much appreciated by all of us.
Sometimes life can get pretty stressful and fast paced and we need to slow down and remember how small we really are in the scope of things.
Activity 31 – Visit a New Park
Thankfully, we live in an area rich with metro parks, city parks, and any other park you might think up.
It makes it very easy to pile in the car, pack a few drinks, or not, and head off on a grand adventure.
The park we discovered this time is called Twin Creek Metro Park
Talk about making a person feel small in God’s great big world.
There were several areas of the park which included: fishing, camping and hiking.
But the part we found most amazing was simply called Scenic View and BOY WAS IT!
On top of the hill you could see for miles and miles and miles.
There was nothing but the sky above us and the massive view below us.
It was breath taking, simply awe inspiring!
There was no rush, no hustle, no bustle, just simply breathing and taking it all in.
Hopefully we conveyed the greatness of it through our photos.
Till Next time,
♥R
What’s you favorite park to explore where you live?
Sounds like a perfect day to me.
